ABOUT
Rebekah Smith is the author of heart-warming children's stories, and the director of Book Building Workshops where she empowers children to create their own magic with words through finding the heartbeat of their story. For over three years she has worked with classrooms and groups of children to brainstorm wild and wonderful tales, all the while helping kids learn how to find their own voice and respect the voices of others.

Ever since she was a little girl, Rebekah has loved the magic of words. For as long as she can remember, she has spent as much time as possible getting lost in stories or crafting her own. It is her hope to one day write stories that impact someone's life the same way that the words of CS Lewis, GK Chesterton and George MacDonald have impacted hers.
Favourite Book
There are many books that are greatly loved by Rebekah, but none so much as The Princess and the Goblin, by George MacDonald. She tries to read this book at least once a year, claiming that every time she does, she discovers more about herself, the world and who she wants to be. To her, this book contains all the wonder and beauty of fairytales; "It carries you away in your imagination until you realize that you've been discovering truths all along. "
